Monster Messenger joins forces with Facebook Messenger Kids
Dear parents,
When we first launched Monster Messenger in February 2016, 3 years ago, we addressed the unserved market of safe instant messaging for children and their families.
Our mission was to offer parents a safest, funniest and most trustworthy messaging experience to their families in a free and ad-free app available to everyone.
We enjoyed outstanding growth and engagement, far beyond our most optimistic previsions.
After 3 years as an independent publisher, we’ve decided to work together with Facebook’s Messenger Kids team.
Before committing, we spent a lot of time with Messenger Kids’ management in order to make sure we shared the same vision and values. That was of paramount importance to us. And we were utterly impressed to see how aligned our choices were with Messenger Kids’ team and how committed the team was to build a safe and fun messaging experience for families, just like us! It was like looking in a mirror, but with a wider reach!
Messenger Kids and Monster Messenger are built on exactly the same pillars:
- Parents are in control
- Time well spent
- Trustworthiness
Messenger Kids is genuinely family friendly. There are no in-app ads, no in-app purchases, and it is free to download. We are very proud to work with the Messenger Kids team. We hope you’ll follow us in this new adventure, and that your family will enjoy Messenger Kids as much as we do.
I’d like to personally thank you on behalf of our team for your trust and support as parents since launch. You helped us make it right and rightfully challenged us when we didn’t!
As an entrepreneur, creating and operating Monster Messenger has been an incredibly exhilarating adventure, and undoubtedly the best work experience in my life.
I’m very excited that we can contribute to the next chapter in messaging for families!
Sincerely,
Jerome Serre
