iTooch 4th Grade Science author, Judy Osborne, leads an active life. In addition to raising a family, she also teaches Science to elementary students, is working toward obtaining her Master’s degree in biological sciences and, now, she is the author of a science education app! Judy has secured several grants for her classroom providing her school with valuable supplies. Her travels to different countries have enabled her to bring real life ecology into her class curriculum which makes every school year new, exciting, and challenging both for her and her students. Judy has been teaching elementary science in Georgia for several years and enjoys watching young children develop an appreciation for science.
iTooch 4th Grade Science editor, Eileen Heyes, has a BA in journalism from California State University, Long Beach. She wrote and edited at newspapers for 30 years while trying to decide what she wanted to be when she grew up. She is the author of three nonfiction books for teens and two mysteries for children. In learning the storytelling craft, she has studied screenwriting and improv, earned a certificate in Documentary Arts, and volunteered in the street cast of a Renaissance Faire. She takes it all back into the classroom as a writer-in-residence with the United Arts Council of Wake County, North Carolina. Originally from Los Angeles, she now lives in Raleigh with her brilliant husband and one of her two interesting, articulate sons.
